Alexandr III’s Coronation Day celebrated
On November 10, 1990, Alexandr Valdarr was crowned His Majesty Emperor Alexandr III of Kylmästo.
He was said to be a descendant of the notorious Harald Fairhair, the first king to unite the current northern UBN, during the Viking Age. After becoming a grand, accomplished military commander, he returned to the north by the mid-1020s. There, he formed an alliance with Svein Sigurdsson. King Fairhair married Svein Sigurdsson’s only daughter Brigida and from this marriage a new empire emerged, Kylmästo.

"Young, old, man, woman, poor, rich, ... everyone is equal"
This is the most important and most festive day of the year in Kylmästo. The national holiday takes place every year, on November 10, to honour Emperor Alexander III and his policies.
The entire country gets time off from work that day to celebrate.
Typically, the celebrations on the anniversary consist of huge gatherings, garden parties, decadent boat parties with singing, chanting, live music, free gambling tournaments, and various local delicacies.

“I think it is very important to celebrate this day and remind people of their origins. We reflect on the past and celebrate the bright future of our country.
Kylmästo is a legacy we were given several centuries ago and we must, together, appreciate and protect it.
This is not just my day, but a day for all residents of Kylmästo. Young, old, man, woman, poor, rich... Everyone is equal.” Emperor Alexandr III says.

This year, the emperor will celebrate his Coronation Day with his wife and children, and a number of carefully chosen citizens in their palace in the mountains.
After brunch, after some fascinating conversations, the emperor will, as always, give a speech on national television. Residents of Kylmästo can follow the live broadcast from 11am on their screens. After his speech, various other festivities will be broadcast, alternating with live music.
