The memorial of our glorious beast

Last week, a giant passed away. The country’s favourite race horse Li’l Sebastian was sent on his way to heaven, doing what he loves doing most; eating carrots and urinating freely.

Li’l national hero

The retired racing superstar Li’l Sebastian was one of the best of his time, being the fastest racehorse of the decade, sprinting his way to the top. His career started at the young age of two, when he was a slow grower, but quickly developed his skill in training and grew to be a giant in the horse racing community of Kylmästo and surrounding countries.

Horse virus

At the ripe age of 25, he had lived a very successful life and sadly passed away of old age. The horse retired at twelve, and enjoyed his last years with his horse companion Coconut, another victorious retired race horse. Both were dealing with ailments for the past months due to a virus spreading the grounds of Kylmästo.

The illnesses he bore were not known to the public until the day he passed. Li’l suffered from cataracts in both eyes and severe arthritis for quite some time. Even these issues could not keep him from spreading joy and cheer.

In Memoriam

Sebastian was not only known for his fast hooves, but he also brought people together.
The memorial service remained small, only a close circle of family and friends were invited to join Cocunut and Ladybug to bid farewell to their friend who’s left the earth.

Ronald Svenson, loyal friend of Li’l Sebastian was honoured to lay the wreath and light the ceremonial fire. Spectators have witnessed a great farewell with acts by his dearest; a modern rendition of a 13th century Italian poem by Dante Alighieri and a memorial song 5.000 candles in the wind performed by the local band Hiiren Rotta.

Fond of Lake Stor

At the memorial service as well as for the coming month, the city council of Eclohringr sells merchandise to citizens and fans of the most famous horse in Kylmästian history. Proceeds will go to his favourite charity “The Lake Stor Emergency Rescue Team” of which he was a proud ambassador.
