From that moment on, the language took on its own life. Different variants have emerged over time.

The currently spoken language in Kylmästo is a combination of the old Nordic language mixed with some southern influences, the Kaunazan language.
Kylmästo also has a second official language.
Centuries later English became the second official language in Kylmästo, because they see it as a world language. The population must be able to communicate with everyone.
But the history of the unique old language should never be forgotten. Everyone should be educated about his or her origins, this is something emperor Alexandr III finds very important.
The earliest known wall drawings in the UBN date from around the 5th century AD and were written in Runes. They were mainly cave or rock paintings, but archaeologists also found runes on implements or on personal possessions. The majority of these paintings and drawings have been found in the mountains and caves in Kylmästo and Damniel.
In addition to inscriptions and runes, archaeologists also found literature from a few centuries later. The old Nordic literature they found were predominantly poems and worships about mystic creatures, gods, nature, mysterious individuals and repulsive animals.
From the literature they found, they could conclude that the language had changed and evolved over the centuries.
Only a few still know the ancient Nordic language and that concerns the older population.
That is why Kylmästo organizes workshops to learn the ancient Nordic language every Sunday in every library across the country. In this way they want to ensure that the beautiful old language does not die out.
